The University of Kentucky Alumni Association’s Lyman T. Johnson Constituency Group, with the support of the Office of Institutional Diversity and the Office of the Provost, will continue tradition by hosting an awards luncheon in the Gatton Student Center Grand Ballroom to honor an African American student and alumni recipient from each nominating college. 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

This is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with your classmates, bet on the ponies, and enjoy the beautiful landscape at Keeneland. We will be tailgating on “The Hill” next to the Entertainment Center. We will have a dedicated spot, with tents, tables, and chairs. We will also have tickets for the grandstand for those who want to go inside the track to see the races. Register here. 

1:30 p.m.

Castle & Key Distillery | 4445 McCracken Pike, Frankfort, KY 40601 

This distillery opened in 2018 and has become one of the favorites to visit. You will be led on a walking tour of the grounds, production area and finish with a taste of their wonderful bourbon. There are two different tours at 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. We will assign which tour you will be on when you arrive. The cost to attend is $30 per person. Join your friends and classmates for your class reunion dinner, provided by the College of Medicine. The evening will be filled with old and new faces, guest speakers. The dinner will be held in The Origin Hotel Ballroom. Register here for you and your guest to attend.

Get ready to cheer at our Tailgate Tent Party as the Wildcats take on the Missouri Tigers. Enjoy tailgate food along with exciting games, entertainment, giveaways and performances by the UK Cheerleaders and Pep Band!
